Media Group began simply in mid 1997......
It all started when a
friend asked if a web site could be created for her venture as a small
business raising toy poodles under the name of Rennie's Rose Red Poodles
at poodles.com.

Rennie had determined
that being able to sell her puppies via the internet just might be a solid
marketing method.
It proved to be a very
solid decision as her supply of puppies continuously and consistently failed
to meet the demand of potential puppy owners.
Admittedly, early versions
of that site were not that good. In those early days we operated
under the name of Cinnywebs and after only a few months we determined that
the name of Cinnywebs had zero potential for the future.

A name that described
our purpose and function was needed that would be more marketable, and
Net-werkZ© was
selected for exactly that reason.
Interestingly, a number
of our web contacts identified their increased marketing needs as a result
of growth and were disappointed that we were only working with web sites.
They indicated a need
for a variety of marketing disciplines, however, perceived high cost was
keeping them away from seeking a media consultant.
In the years leading up
to 2004 several friends, family and acquaintances had found their way into
one or more of the many media disciplines and their clients had also expressed
concerns regarding a need for additional services.
Toward the close of 2004
the future owner/partners discussed our common concerns and determined
that Net-werkZ© should become the overall group
identity and that we would form subdivisions and name them according to
their functional area.
As we examined our specialties
we determined that three distinct functional areas existed and we named
them; Web-werkZ©, Media-werkZ©
and Art-werkz©.

Each division was responsible
for providing specific services. Net-werkZ©
Media
Group,
was to become an umbrella and with its origins as a once solely web development
entity that division became Web-werkZ©
in
order to present and maintain a consistent naming philosophy within the
parent organization.
However, as time has moved
on, the three in one idea has proven to be confusing to visitors and clients
alike and all functions of the three disciplines are now simply individual
departments of Net-werkZ©.

You see in our initial
effort to provide a clear distinction between the three entities of Web-werkZ©,
Media-werkZ©
and Art-werkz©we simply lost sight of our original operating philosophy
and each department and each owner/partner hereby reclaims the "KISS" theory.
