In the old west ranchers
would burn a mark (a brand) into the hides of their cattle to distinctly
identify them. The brands were large enough and left no doubt
as to their ownership.

The need for branding is
just as necessary today and every business needs a logo that is recognizable.
Certainly, if you saw either of
the two logos below you would immediately recognize the companies they

versions of our logo were contributed by a former staff designer and did
not really convey any message.
When we
changed our structure it was time to create a new brand or logo for our
site. Our goal was to create a very recognizable graphic that would tell
a story.

Net-werkz
began operating in 1997 as it ventured into Web sites, Web site design,
Web design and site design. As time moved along Web hosting, Domains,
and site redesign Net-werkz added to the Web sites, Web site design, Web
design and site design. Growth of the World Wide Web aka the net,
boomed and Net-werkz was afforded the chance to build many more web sites.
In the field of
web design or more specifically web site design, Net-werkz has always believed
in the KISS theory, in other words managing the web site media, logos,
and graphics to keep the page size small to allow for fast opening web
sites. There are other large web design companies that probably make
really pretty web sites, but do fancy web sites perform best or does a
functional web design by Net-werkz work better?
The need became
obvious for a well rounded Net-werkz that was versed in the many disciplines
of advertising, public relations, graphics, and logos. The
added departments for media and graphics have added much to Net-werkz portfolio.
Once a captive of external graphic arts designers, Net-werkz can now produce
most graphics and logos we need in house.
The net continues
to offer challenges and one was the small company that could not afford
the large ad or media buying companies. Advertising and public relations
are the keys to business growth, and Net-werkz now has the ability to assist
